About the role - you will:We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with energy, passion and initiative in capturing new business across Lyve and Systems into key vertical markets including Media & Entertainment. You thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization where you can make a meaningful impact. You appreciate being recognized and rewarded for great work. Highly organized with the ability to formulate a sales strategy across assigned accounts or verticals, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have experience in selling Enterprise solutions ranging from Storage, Software to Cloud. Experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions is a plus. The successful candidate will be Customer Obsessed, a Creative Thinker with a Passion for Success and is Team Centric.
This position will be remote.
- Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline
- Achieve and or exceed Quarterly and Annual quota requirements
- Build strong and effective relationships and Champions
- Understand our customer’s challenges and articulate the Seagate value proposition
- Build targeted account plans across assigned territory and verticals
- Develop and deliver proposals that clearly address the customer’s business, technical, TCO/ROI requirements
- Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner
- Work with and build long-term relationships with trusted Seagate partners (Reseller and Ecosystem)
- Attend and participate in QBR’s and various product and sales trainings
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in a fast-paced competitive market with a consistent track record of success and quota achievement
- Experience selling into the Media & Entertainment market.
- Experience selling solutions that require a consultative, solution-based approach
- Strong Demand Generation skills with the ability and passion for closing new business
- Previous Sales Methodology training (i.e., MEDDIC, Command of the Message, SPIN, Challenger)
- Previous experience in Storage, SaaS, Cloud, Services
- Skilled at uncovering customer challenges, requirements and needs
- Individual thrives in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to establish credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with peers and upper management. Collaboration and cultural fit critical
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of management
- Proficient with SFDC, LinkedIn, Navigator, Microsoft Office and other sales tools
