Job Description
Lucent Energy Management is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. We are not a “one size fits all” provider. We customize and design each system to meet our customers’ needs and we do not subcontract out the work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attend in house and virtual consultations with homeowners that would like to explore solar for their home
- Identify, qualify, and follow up with cold, warm and hot leads for opportunity to convert to sales for residential jobs
- Keep an updated and organized CRM
- Design and price out a solar system and then propose it to a customer
- Keep an ongoing list of potential prospects on a weekly basis with a plan of how to convert them to a close
- We supply leads, however the Sales Consultant is expected to also self-generate opportunities
- Experience in Solar Sales preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Professional – Good image, good demeanor and communicator
- Student Mentality – Ask the right questions, learn from mistakes
- Good Attitude and Team Player
Sales Consultant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous work experience as a Solar Sales Consultant preferred
- Previous sales experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to relate technical information in layman’s terms
- Ability to travel and work irregular hours
- Auto and valid driving license
- Basic knowledge of sales and Office software (i.e. MS excel, MS word, MS Outlook)
We provide company generated appointments through our on-site call center to supplement self-generated leads through various SEO, telemarketing, paid advertising and social media outlets.
