THE OPPORTUNITY

WorkBoard is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst & Salesforce Administrator to support our rapidly growing sales team in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SaaS sales cycles, key performance indicators (KPIs), data & territory analysis, and sales dashboard creation. This role will report to the VP of Sales Operations, and will work closely with Sales leadership, our Growth & Marketing teams, the Customer Success organization, and our Finance department, as well as providing end-user support to the full Salesforce.com org.

What You'll Do:

  • Track, analyze and optimize key metrics around pipeline, forecasting, revenue reporting, deal velocity, territory planning, and more

  • Develop customized reporting and dashboards for all levels of the company, to support individual account executives up through the C-suite

  • Identify key metrics specific to the WorkBoard sales cycle and process which will measure success and accelerate sales velocity

  • Proactively research and identify process gaps and suggest [mitigation strategies]

  • Document internal system and processes and develop training materials for new hire onboarding

  • Serve as primary system administrator for one instance of Salesforce with multiple customizations and integration points

  • Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups.

  • Communicate with end-users and product managers to understand business requirements and convert them into effective solutions

  • Create custom workflows, reports and dashboards, configure the system, monitor and troubleshoot any reported issues

  • Develop system hygiene requirements and proactively maintain database integrity


COMING IN


  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Business/Financial Analysis demonstrating strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and admin related work

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including strong ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions

  • A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic & exceptional attention to detail

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Strong proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint

  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment a plus


WITHIN ONE MONTH YOU'LL


  • Attend new-hire immersion training to build a deep understanding of our buyer, their pain points, our methodology, and how we work as a team

  • Deep dive with Sales to understand their process, tools, and pain points

  • Meet with the Finance, Marketing, Growth, and Services teams

  • Gain familiarity with WorkBoard's Salesforce instance + integrated systems



WITHIN THREE MONTHS YOU'LL


  • Be hands on with reporting, dashboarding, and general user requests in SFDC

  • Provision new users on SFDC and other sales systems and tools

  • Lead thoughtful analysis evaluating key drivers and metrics, and partner on driving operational efficiencies

  • Provide insight and suggestions on process improvements around forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, territory management, etc


WITHIN SIX MONTHS YOU'LL


  • Own reporting, dashboarding, and most user and interface requests in SFDC

  • Be a strategic partner to the Sales Ops and Sales Management leaders

  • Proactively seek out opportunities to make improvements to our process, tools, integrations, and systems

  • Provide capacity models, forecasting, and analysis to the leadership team

  • Be a subject matter expert for all things SFDC and sales support
