Job Description

Systems & Software is looking for a Sales Manger to join their team.
As a Sales Manager, you will provide sales demos and presentations; create documentation and materials such as handouts, guides, PowerPoints, videos, etc. to support demo; take direction from sales representative and research client needs for demo.

As a Sales Manager, you will report into the Vice President of Customer Engagement.

Your impact will be:

  • Work closely with the sales team to conduct web and onsite software product demonstrations selling the benefits and value of our solutions.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of business practices as they relate to the utility industry.
  • Assist in completion of the functional sections of Requests for Information/Proposal.
  • Work with the Research & Development, Professional Services, and the Customer Success teams to understand new customer requirements during the sales and demonstration process.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, and stay current, within the utility industry.
  • Work with Customer Success to provide upgrade demonstrations to highlight new features available to customers.
  • Attend and demonstrate software at tradeshows and events.

What we look for:

  • Deep Customer Information System (CIS) and related product knowledge
  • Electric, gas, and water utility customer care experience
  • Ability to conduct and manage a meeting of utility core teams
  • Ability to speak and present to an audience
  • Comfortable with C-Suite access and discussion
  • Current in utility norms, mandates, and inclusion (work this one how you see fit)
  • Travel is a necessity
