We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive for Commercial and Residential Roofing Systems
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge, and abilities, but are not limited to:
- 2-3 years minimum experience in Commercial Roofing
- Minimum High School Graduate/College Preferred!
- General knowledge of Microsoft office
- Good at building relationships
- Positive approach to challenges
- Strong Work ethics
- Ability to read plans and specifications both in hard copy and digital formats
- Understand all phases of building envelope construction
- Understand commercial roof system designs to include; ModBit, BUR, TPO, PVC, EPDM, Metal and coatings, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regularly communicate with management regarding all assigned projects
- Effective communication with GCs, Owners, Project Managers and consultants.
- Setting up a ladder and climbing is required to inspect facilities.
- At times, the work will be conducted at construction sites and the employee will be exposed to varying temperature ranges from heat in excess of 90 degrees to cold weather which could include temperatures in the teens, and rainy conditions.
- Sell work at specified sales margins and markup cost.
- Secure commercial roofing contracts through networking, bidding opportunities, door knocking and responding to leads provided from the office.
- Schedule pre-roofing conference before roofing work begins.
- Secure signed contractors and work with office on payment terms, bonds, and other items needed.
- Provide support as required for materials, schedule and cost information.
- Prepare estimates for approval before submitting.
- Prepare estimates needed for change orders and maintain communication to ensure Change Orders are prepared and signed before proceeding with additional work.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
- Provide constant communication and promote services provided by company.
- Participate & coordinate trade shows, architect expos, property manager expos, hospitality expos, and marketing functions to increase market share.
- Create leads for repair and service work through cold calling, referrals, service hand off, account management and networking.
- Manage and document roof conditions in the field and in the development of repair proposals.
- Participate in sales meetings and trainings and obtain continuing education by participating in available manufacturer seminars and conferences.
- Estimate and tech existing roof conditions including proper core cuts when applicable.
- Provide operations team with necessary information and support for success of the project.
- Perform all services and acts reasonably associated with his/her position to achieve company purposes, in each instance as approved and required by the company.
Compensation:
- The qualified Sales Executive will be offered a competitive base salary in addition to an attractive commission structure.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
