The Sales Excellence Specialist – Breakthrough Initiatives will play an integral role in supporting the Honeywell Building Technologies Breakthrough Initiatives. This role will drive sales force effectiveness and business acumen while providing timely and accurate in-depth analytics to enable strategic business decisions related to and in support of the field sales teams. This role requires communication and coordination with home office functions and field sales personnel. The ideal candidate loves finding new and creative ways to solve complex problems and desires constant improvement. This person will be instrumental in measuring, monitoring, and driving improvements against core KPIs across our Global Breakthrough Initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales Excellence leaders and Sales Excellence team to drive sales enablement across business verticals and in support of Breakthrough Initiatives.
  • Gather business requirements and make recommendations on process improvements, go-to-market execution, coverage models, and deployment; with outcomes tied to revenue gains.
  • Provide insight on sales trends and develop and produce performance metrics, dashboards and operational measures to identify areas of improvements and drive resolution.
  • Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to develop and maintain monthly reports and dashboards within the commercial platforms.
  • Coordinate and lead efforts in support of sales related activities including but not limited to call planning, incentive compensation, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, field sales communications and training materials.
  • Review and update field sales training materials for work streams such as call planning, Incentive Compensation and field sales reporting; deliver live training as needed.
  • KPI reporting for senior management/monthly reviews including sales forecasting, sales target attainments, pipeline size, velocity and win rates.
  • Data integrity and governance for sales systems; work closely with business, functional leaders, and IT resources to support data integrity efforts e.g. data cleanup, restoration, and establishment of operating systems to maintain data over the long term.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 + year experience using data to make recommendations
  • 1 + year experience of Microsoft Excel performing functions to manipulate and calculate data for analysis
  • 1 + year of experience using a CRM system (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce.com, SIEBEL, SAP)
