About this role


Adaptiva is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer in joining a newly formed pre-sales team that will partner with Account Executives as the trusted technical advisor around Adaptiva’s product offering. As a Sales Engineer you will focus on new opportunities, enabling channel partners, and evangelize endpoint management. You will be critical in demonstrating the value of the Adaptiva’s product offering to a diverse set of technical and non-technical personas at our client organizations. Providing a regional presence, you will work remotely and be expected to occasionally travel to meetings, conferences and short-term customer engagements within your region and potentially to other US locations.


Responsibilities


  • Discovery
    – Identify the prospect’s challenges and validate our platform can solves those challenges.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations – Deliver value-based presentations and demonstrations catered to the prospect’s use cases.
  • Validation Events – Manage and define the successful scope of a structured validation event in collaboration with the prospect.
  • RFI/RFP Responses – Lead quality responses to prospect requests for information or proposals in a timely matter.
  • Product Expertise – Build awareness and go-to market assets for Adaptiva’s product offerings as well as share technical expertise with customer communities.
  • Internal Collaboration – Share experiences and knowledge back to the presales team as well cross functional organizations (marketing, product, engineering, customer success) for continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in a technical customer-facing role (e.g. sales engineer, solutions engineer, solutions consultant, demo engineer, solutions architect).
  • Proven experience delivering demonstrations and POC's.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to think of outside the box solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse set of users and roles.
  • Experience with business and technical objection handling specifically for compete opportunities.
  • Self-starter mentality with the appetite to continuously improve on operational processes and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a virtual team environment.

Good to have

  • Experience with Modern Device management products such as Microsoft Intune / VMWare WorkspaceOne.
  • Experience in endpoint management software.
