Job Description
Under the general direction of the Director, Sales Enablement and Lead Generation, the Sales Enablement Operations Manager organizes and administers large, complex project(s) for the Sales Enablement and Lead Generation Department. This person is responsible for executing large projects for the Sales Enablement and Lead Generation Department and acting as administrator of Sales Enablement Tools. This is accomplished by applying the knowledge of project management tools and processes towards project activities, combined with the skills and abilities to guide a diverse team to achieve a common goal.

The Sales Enablement Operations Manager will need to not only possess strong organizational and project management skills, but the candidate will also need to be flexible and have a dynamic personality to work across the Sales Organization.

The Sales Enablement Operations Manager will be the administrator of the content management system (Highspot), managing user access, user technical support, system updates and maintenance, analytics and reporting, and long-term goals. Other tools may include (but not limited to) SalesLoft, TechValidate, Collective[I], Wrike, and account planning software.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Works with Director, Sales Enablement and Lead Generation to organize, execute and deliver against Sales Enablement and Lead Generation projects . Serves as the “Operations Expert” to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  • Develops project plan, including goals, scope, requirements, resources, and key milestones, for identified Lead Generation projects and Quarterly Sales Leader Intent Lead Gen Plans.
  • Acts, in many cases, as SPA, facilitating stakeholders and project members.
  • In many cases, will serve as the owner and executor of tasks within a project.
  • Ensures problems, issues and risks that may affect achieving project goals are identified, documented and resolved.
  • Tracks and reports project status and key metrics to project stakeholders and Director, Sales Enablement and Lead Generation regularly.
  • Completes post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved and provides insight for improvement to future delivery of projects.
  • Manages Sales Enablement Technology and serves as administrator of systems.
  • Manages content management system (Highspot), including operations training, technical support, maintenance, user access, contract/licenses, and long-term goals.
  • Responsible for reporting on Highspot usage and analytics against the tool.
  • Creates project plans for onboarding, usage and execution of new systems.
  • Works with external vendors on potential usage and provides the Director, Sales Enablement and Lead Generation with recommendations and detailed information.
  • Participates in training and mentoring others on system processes and best practices within the team.
  • Acts as “ Producer ” for many Lead Generation projects, such as Webinars and campaigns where needed.
  • Ensures effective and successful communication of Sales Enablement and Lead Generation objectives and timelines.
  • Communicates expectations clearly and continuously to team members and stakeholders.
  • Serves as primary contact between stakeholders through all phases of Lead Generation projects.
  • Obtains materials, lists, key content, and project components as needed to ensure project continues to execute on time.
  • Supports continuous improvement of Sales Enablement and Lead Generation’s processes by aiding in the development of tools and best practices for project execution .
  • Completes research as needed for team projects and initiatives.
  • In conjunction with the Director, Sales Enablement and Lead Generation, creates, publishes, and monitors best practices and Standard Operating Procedures for various processes within Sales Enablement and Lead Generation.
  • Serves as consultant to Events Managers, Technology Manager, and Lead Management Coordinator. to ensure best practices and procedures are identified and created.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years business experience in a related discipline such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, Client Management, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, business, preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of people; excels in leading cross-functional and inter-disciplinary teams towards common objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as functional liaison between departments.
  • High degree of proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to effectively manage all phases of project management; including planning, monitoring, and control, team formation and development, project tracking and project deliverables.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communication and resource plans and serve as an effective liaison between all constituents involved in the assigned project.
  • Demonstrated high-functioning ability in Excel.
