RapidRatings is actively looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, with high energy, positive phone presence, a team player mentality, and is willing to take coaching advice and apply it immediately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - Play a key role in building our sales pipeline to support our growing business. As a member of the outbound sales team, you will coordinate closely with our sales organization to research, prospect and create opportunities for the sales team
- Have influence by making a positive impression on a potential customer, so you will be responsible for starting an experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow up
- Achieve goals by measuring the number of outreaches, qualified opportunities, and new contacts/companies added to our verified database. This position has a career track to various positions at RapidRatings!

What will you do in the role?
- Use all available channels (email/social media/phone calls/etc.) to identify and contact key decision makers in Fortune 1000 level companies
- Engage with the senior leadership and C suite executives from a variety of industries including, Technology, Finance, Banking, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Retail
- Manage, track, and report all data/activities in Salesforce
- Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects
- Collaborate with marketing to support successful outreach campaigns
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events that provide lead generation
To be a good fit for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) opportunity, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer facing role is ideal. Proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with prospects
- Cold calling, sales training is a plus
- Proactive and results driven
- CRM experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; customer oriented; tactfulness and courtesy
- Ability to be agile in a working environment
