Tri Pointe Homes Dallas is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a Sales & Closing Manager.


Position Highlights: Provide leadership and coordination of closing services team which involves all aspects of the sales purchase agreement processing, opening escrows, and timely coordination of the closing with high customer satisfaction


Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales purchase agreement processing, home start preparation, and coordination of the escrow closing. Accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through are essential to keep multiple projects and tasks on a key point.
  • Manage updates to sales contract documents, addenda, forms, processes, and internal meetings relating to the home buying process.
  • Lead weekly backlog calls and ensure all buyers' conditions are coming in a timely manner; problem-solve, sending non-compliance notices, and involving sales and loan consultants to reach out to the buyer if required.
  • Ensure the teams’ input of accurate data & data integrity within multiple systems including JDE E1, Salesforce CRM, Envision Options, Hyphen Warranty to generate accurate reporting relating to sales operations.
  • Ensure the Sales Operations Team has accurate information used to make decisions on a daily basis relating to business processes
  • Partner with TRI Pointe Connect, our affiliate mortgage company, and the preferred title companies weekly and evaluate process changes relating to new regulations.
  • Development, alignment, and maintenance of weekly reports of sales, starts, closings, cancellations, production status detail, Eliant non-responders, Salesforce overdue activities, and inventory homes.
  • Setup of new community defaults, info, and disclosures in Salesforce.
  • Develop and adapt business processes to improve functionality and efficiencies within the sales and closing operations department
  • Collaborate with sales management on sales training, systems onboarding, and updating policies and procedures relating to sales processes. Ensure training tools and systems are updated and reviewed regularly to ensure the sales team is set up for success and complies with audit procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and manage sales, starts, and closing operations coordinators
  • Train sales managers as needed to ensure effective processes and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Creation and maintenance of weekly reports such as sales, starts, closings, cancellations, Production Status Detail, Eliant Non-Responders, SalesForce Overdue Activities, and inventory homes.
  • Audit government document folders and all applicable documents to ensure accuracy, learning, and compliance. Assume leadership role in Quarterly Audits with the Home office.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • BA/BS; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the home building industry with knowledge of Real Estate Law required.
  • Licensed according to state regulations preferred
  • Production homebuilding industry experience preferred
  • Technical proficiency with escrow and title software
  • Experience in title or closing of mortgage loans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to maintain file flow
  • Notary Public a plus
