Our retail sales associates attend a hands-on small group training class which will help sell our retail products, goods, services, and ad on sales to our customers. Retail sales associates work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Greeting, connecting and establishing a rapport with guests while maintaining a level of store appearance and accomplishing sales production goals. Job Title: Sales Associate

Department: Pawn America

Reports to: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Coach in Training and Team Lead

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Testing/cleaning items to maximize store profitability
• Remove all personal data off electronic items to maintain previous owner’s confidentially when the product is eligible for resale
• Merchandise the sales floor according to company standards
• Promote and sell extended service plans and lifetime jewelry care plans
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Attend regular sales trainings and store meetings
• Enforce safety, health, security rules, OSHA compliance, and loss prevention in the specific location
• Achieve sales per hour goals
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Formal Education and Experience Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge:

• Point of sales systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
