Sales Assistant

A privately owned wholesale and distribution company is looking for a Sales Assistant to work in an exciting and dynamic environment within the food industry. Responsibilities include supporting the sales staff and sales manager in order to achieve sales targets. The Sales Assistant will play an active role in the administration part of sales. The candidate will help on sales calls and orders as needed. The role will require working closely with the warehouse staff, liaising both departments. The Sales Assistant will be in charge of the coordination of Third truck parties deliveries. Knowledge of Indian food products is a MUST.

• Must be friendly and approachable, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – must be highly proficient in Excel
• Working knowledge of Quick Books is a plus
• Display strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Must be organized, detail oriented, analytical and a quick learner
• Multitasking abilities
• Time management and auto discipline

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
