Position Overview

As a Safety Monitor with HELP USA, you'll help ensure a safe and secure environment at one of our permanent housing buildings in the Bronx. You'll be the first contact with our residents when they enter the building. In addition to ensuring their safety, you'll help everyone who enters the building feel welcome. It's critical that you're alert, vigilant, and courteous to all of our residents. Your responsibilities will include patrolling facility grounds, maintaining accurate documentation, and preparing incident reports when necessary.

This is a part time position working Saturday and Sunday, either 4pm-12am or 12am-8am (both shifts are available).

Requirements

  • New York State security guard license is required.

  • FDNY F-01 of F02 is required.

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
