Route Driver/Smash Truck Operator

Route Driver for SMASH Truck *Positions open immediately* To apply, respond to this listing with your resume. We are seeking full time, route drivers (no CDL required) to operate our smash machines for our growing business. You will be responsible for driving to and from our customer's sites and safely operate our hydraulic machines at multiple customer locations. Trucks are outfitted with a custom hydraulic machine implement to compact open-top waste containers (dumpsters), requiring your ability to skillfully and safely operate the equipment at each customer's facility. No experience necessary, you will receive on the job training. You must physically be able to climb a 4-foot ladder approximately 20 times per day, including in poor weather. You will conduct daily pre and post trip inspections on the equipment and maintain cleanliness and basic preventative maintenance. You are the face of our company and will be interacting with our customers each day. Professionalism, cleanliness of your equipment and uniform, and pride in your work and the value you provide your customers, are all very important to our culture. Willingness to chip in to help with facility maintenance, sales, basic equipment maintenance, and contributing to the team as needed are all fundamental requirements of all employees. We operate M-F and opportunities are available for overtime. Safely operate our equipment, typically on local routes. Skillfully operate a hydraulic operated machine implement. Properly document activity log via handheld device. Report any issues or incidents to management. Inspect equipment before and after trip with pre- and post-check. Contribute to maintenance and cleaning of truck and machine.

* Previous experience in machine operation, truck driving, waste management, hydraulics, or other related fields is helpful but not necessary. * Commercial driver's license is not required. Solid background check and driving record will be reviewed * Ability to handle moderate physical workload * Commissions and bonuses may be available for both referral and sales activities, which are reasonably available (but not required).
