Roll Off Driver

Roll Off Drivers are an essential role to Mazza Recycling's operation. Drivers are responsible for the inspection, pickup and delivery of roll off containers and proper recording of all regulatory documentation. Roll Off Drivers report to the Roll Off Dispatcher and Collection Operations Manager.
Driver responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely operating Roll Off trucks
• Properly operating a 10-speed manual transmission
• Hauling of waste debris from large, high volume construction customers, as well as from residential and other commercial customers.
• Performing assigned duties on roll-off delivery and hauling routes. This physically strenuous position involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck many times each day. In addition, the position involves lifting (up to 50 - 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Communicating professionally with customers, dispatch, and our customer service department
• Reporting any repairs and maintenance issues with equipment assigned to the driver
• Assuring the driver is placing accurate box numbers on the paperwork so customer service can update the container tracking software
• Accurately complete logs, reports, and vehicle inspections daily. They must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner
