Summary

The RN unit manager works with all department and personnel to ensure comprehensive care, treatment, and environment meet our superior standards. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provides professional guidance, supervision and encouragement to professional and non-professional staff.

Assumes nursing administrative responsibilities of the facility for weekend and holiday coverage as requested.

Supervises CNA and charge nurse performance and assists with completions of annual evaluations.

Initiates disciplinary action of CNA's and floor nurses when warranted.

Holds unit meetings with Nurses and CNA's as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a minimum of two years of nursing experience. Supervisory experience preferred

Must hold current valid RN license in PA
