Job Description:
Status: PRN
Shift: 3rd
Job Summary:
A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (infancy to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care.
He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of BHLAG. Responsibilities will commensurate with the education preparation and demonstrated competencies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assesses patient/resident clinical status
2. Develops a plan of care.
3. Implements/oversees the implementation of the nursing plan of care.
4. Evaluates effectiveness.
5. Communicates and validates patient care information
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience
1. Active Kentucky RN License
2. BCLS required
3. Six (6) months of prior experience preferred.
