We are looking to hire an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for the Family Maternity Center in Boise. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-84 and Curtis Road.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.
As a condition of employment for this role, you may be asked to float to various facilities, including Saint Alphonsus Boise and Nampa campuses.
General Requirements:
- Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions
- At least one year of RN L&D experience required
Education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
License/Certification:
- RN license in the state of Idaho required prior to start. RN license in the state of Oregon required within six months of start date.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification
- ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date
- STABLE certification required or obtained within one year of hire date
