Job Description
Job Description:Manager level position that plans, coordinates, and implements clinical operations. Provides training and employee assessments to enhance clinical performance and quality patient care. Provides direct support of clinical staff as needed.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Required or experience/alternative degree considered in lieu of education
- Master's Degree Healthcare Preferred
Experience:
- 1 year Management Position Required
- 1 year Healthcare - Acute Care and/or
- 1 year Ambulatory Clinic and/or
- 1 year Education/Training Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Preferred
- Epic - Certification - One or More Hospital Based Applications Preferred
- Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center Required within 2 years of hire and Must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for Magnet demographics

Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and able to perform venipuncture, IV access, IV infusions.
- Demonstrates knowledge of life support carts, medical devices and medications.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and developing protocols.
- Demonstrates excellent writing and verbal skills, interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict resolution, presentation, time management, positive personal influence and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated skills in motivating, mentoring and coaching care team members in order to achieve highly trained efficient care team staff.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills necessary to provide continuous focus on quality of nursing care and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
- Demonstrates and able to perform clinical RN roles and responsibilities in the service line/department.
- Epic knowledge desirable.
