Community Care, an exciting, growing agency in Rochester , NY is looking for a dynamic leader to manage a growing office . As the Branch Manager you will be responsible for and actively involved in all the day to day operations of the agency and provide leadership and direction to ensure patient satisfaction and and compliance with NYS DOH Regulations Comprehensive knowledge in LCHSA is required.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develops and maintains positive “customer” relationships (“customer” is defined as co-workers, participants, visitors, vendors, supervisors).
  • Communicates with customers in a caring, helpful, considerate, and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer needs and wants and attempts to anticipate and meet customer needs.

  • Utilizes service recovery techniques to resolve issues quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Ensures all active home care clients receive service as authorized.
  • Maintains appropriate level of administrative staff at all times.
  • Identifies areas of staff development and support needed for service-delivery.
  • Ensures efficient and effective delivery of service while promoting the highest of level of customer service to all clients and contract providers.
  • Participates in the hiring and orientation of new home care staff as appropriate.
  • Responsible to ensure on call calendar is maintained utilizing appropriate staff (Coordinator).
  • Assures Branch growth by developing Business Development initiatives and marketing activities with the intent to increase agency census and recruitment of qualified home care workers.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Patient Services to ensure appropriate service delivery of clients and develop performance improvement plans when needed.
  • Prepares statistical and productivity reports as REQUIRED by regulations, agency policies, contracts and/or as requested by Chief Operating Officer.
  • Conducts routine analysis of authorized hours against provided hours to identify trends for performance improvement.
  • Reviews authorization discrepancies, in conjunction with Billing to ensure outstanding account receivables are fulfilled.
  • Handles complaints and provide resolutions within specified timeframes.
  • Participates collaboratively with contract partners to maximize agency growth.
  • Maintains the agency in a state of “readiness” for contract and regulatory surveys.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Patient Services and as member of the Performance Improvement committee to maintain performance improvement by monitoring standards, collecting data through systematic audits and reporting findings/process interventions.
  • Maximizes worker utilization while minimizing worker overtime.
  • Uses data to analyze trends - recommend and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Performs any other related duties.
