Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on, and guide team in, assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as participate with key stakeholders across the enterprise and guide team in understanding business objectives.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Enterprise Multifamily Risk - Risk Management - Senior Associate role will support oversight of activities of the Multifamily business and report to the Director of Multifamily ERM Reporting and Governance. This role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Assist team in managing risk governance framework, including managing and monitoring policies, standards and procedures as well as team oversight strategy and identifying areas for improvement
- Assist team in monitoring and reporting of Multifamily business and regulatory notifications, issues, and directives
- Assist team with monitoring and reporting of Multifamily credit quality, risk exposures and key trends
- Assist team to identify and manage assessment of process, risks and controls for team and provide effective challenge of Multifamily owned process, risk and control data
- Document and present findings and/or conclusions of analysis to key stakeholders and senior management in thoughtful and persuasive manner
- Partner with Multifamily and other stakeholders to carry out business strategies that will drive success and ensure safety and soundness in the face of shifting market conditions and regulations
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experience
- 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior experience performing financial and trend analysis and reporting findings
- Prior experience with credit risk, loan quality analysis, or risk assessment and risk management
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel
Desired Experiences
- 5+ years of related experience
- Multifamily and/or GSE experience
- Skilled in business intelligence tools such as Tableau
