Key Responsibilities
Private Access Program
Collaborate with Right of Way Manager on specific private access strategies, tasks and deliverable timelines
Execute all assigned tasks related to private party easements, licenses and permits for haul and management issues
Delegated or assigned tasks include coordination with managers, foresters and engineers on private access considerations, document and exhibit development for legal counsel review, cost or option analysis, reciprocal easement value appraisals
Public Access Program
Collaborate with RWM on specific public access strategies, tasks and deliverable timelines
Execute all assigned tasks related to BLM Reciprocal Right of Way Agreement and USFS Cost Share Agreement management for haul and management issues
Delegated or assigned project tasks include road use fee calculations and reviews, swap out calculations, terms and conditions letters for BLM timber sales and developing BLM license agreements and BLM or USFS permits
Safety
Be safety conscience in all aspects of job, promote safety program to fellow employees
Administration
Assist RWM in preparation of reports, filing and internal distributions
Take lead role in executing continuous improvement projects such as GIS system inputs
Identify specific knowledge gaps and accomplish annual training objectives to close those gaps and increase proficiencies
Assist RWM in developing and implementing GIS system upgrades concerning road and real estate layers
Other
Models Company core values
Bachelors degree in forestry, forest engineering or related sciences and 2+ years experience; or
4+ years work experience in BLM reciprocal right of way agreement administration or title and real estate transaction administration
Highly motivated self starter; willing to learn and capable of working independently
Strong detail oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Highly organized with ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of GIS systems
