Please note that this opportunity is a remote position available across different states within the US. What is the Global RFP team responsible for? The Global RFP Team is responsible for completing Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and other new business or client-related questionnaires which accurately and favorably represent the organization, and its investment products and services, to prospective clients and their advisers. As part of Global RFP, the US Retail RFP/DDQ Team supports the full range of Franklin Templeton’s retail investment capabilities across 19 distinct investment groups. What are the ongoing responsibilities of the US Retail RFP/DDQ Manager? The U.S. Retail RFP/DDQ Manager is a leadership role, with responsibility to ensure that Franklin Templeton delivers timely, high-quality documents that that positively impact client retention, relationships and win rates. In addition, the RFP/DDQ Manager will be involved in the review and completion of RFPs and DDQs. Key responsibilities include:

- Manage workflow for new questionnaire/submission requests, determine complexity of client requirements, and collaborate with leaders and direct reports to allocate within the team for completion.
- Identify longer-term capacity constraints or scheduling issues and escalate as necessary.
- Lead or participate in prioritization discussions.
- Lead the preparation of complex and/or high-profile submissions through providing input into strategy and content development – including writing, editing and/or customizing responses.
- Drive understanding and adherence to best practices and processes, work on optimization and building efficiencies, including use of the content management database.
- Ensure accurate tracking records are maintained.
- Review and approve completed questionnaires/submissions, as required.
- Coach, develop and mentor team members.
- 3-5 years of management in a global financial services environment, preferred.
- Detailed understanding and experience of the industry processes related to RFP and due diligence support.
- Thorough understanding of retail asset management, plus strong knowledge of financial markets globally
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of seniority and across multiple regions
- University degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
