We are currently looking for an RFP Writer to support our investment boutiques. You'll have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a high attention to detail, multi-task and communicate effectively as a project manager of the RFP/RFI process. This opportunity allows you to learn about every facet of Principal Global Investors and the asset management industry!
Here is just a sample of what you can expect:
- Position and promote the sale of Principal Global Investor products and services through the completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
- Interact with sales/distribution, investment professionals, product management, and other partners to produce clear, concise and accurate information supporting the growth of our business.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts throughout the organization to ensure capabilities and value proposition are clearly and accurately articulated in responses.
- Analyze, interpret and handle large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years relevant experience in the financial service industry.
- Understanding of multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equity, real estate and asset allocation.
- Previous experience in a RFP, product, marketing, or sales capacity, preferably within a financial services or asset management company, desired.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills required.
- Knowledge of (or the ability to learn) Principal Global Investors product offerings and markets.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.
- Ability to learn systems and applications/databases used within the firm required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and coordinate multiple projects at a time.
- Results-oriented and empowered to own each project from beginning to end while efficiently implementing processes to produce a high-quality product.
Work Environment
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
