Current Role & Growth Opportunity

MedeAnalytics is looking for professional proposal developer to create engaging technical and long-form content. This is a unique opportunity to craft both proposals and marketing materials to support sales, as well as elevate MedeAnalytics’ brand and thought leadership efforts.

Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and the sales and marketing teams, the developer will focus primarily on writing proposals and managing and improving the overall RFP response effort.

Our ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with excellent technical and long-form writing skills. The candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and can quickly understand technical aspects of the MedeAnalytics solutions platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, research, write and edit proposals (75%); specifically, develop proposal plan, outline and write technical portion of proposals and prepare responses to RFPs from prospects and clients
• Manage the proposal process from receipt of RFP and kickoff meetings through production and distribution to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage the information gathering process from various sources, including SMEs and sales team to ensure high quality proposals
• Develop collaborative relationships with product SMEs, sales and marketing, and legal to ensure efficiency and alignment
• Edit content for grammar, style and brand
• Identify areas of improvement to further enhance support of the sales process
• Continually update and improve RFP response data in RFP software
• Provide recommendations to elevate thought leadership efforts and differentiate the MedeAnalytics brand from competitor

Essential Education, Experience and Interests

• 3-7 years of experience in proposal writing and content development;
• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
• Proven ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner
• Strong verbal and writing skills, including grammar, sentence structure and proofreading ability
• Project management experience with high standard of excellence when managing details and deadlines
• Familiarity with Loopio or other RFP response software to accelerate responses is preferred
• Understanding of how proposal status is tracked in Salesforce and ability to work with digital teams to create/update win/loss dashboards
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle several high priority projects simultaneously and effectively
• Fully competent in Microsoft office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
