Position Summary
Centerline Communications is seeking an RF EME Sales Manager with experience or education in selling RF/EME services to grow our presence and market responsiveness in the East Region. This position is a good mix of business development and transactional sales with a salary leveraged against closed sale performance and requires an independent and entrepreneurial minded candidate to be considered. Customers will include major wireless carriers, Tower/DAS infrastructure owners, Site Acquisition Vendors/Sub-Contractors and others. The ideal candidate will have experience selling engineering services, have a basic understanding of radio frequency (RF) principles and/ and be comfortable working independently out of a home office. Candidate must be comfortable with outside sales and making cold-calls and/or visits to potential new customers in their market. Reports to the Vice President of EME Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients within assigned territory.
- Perform client outreach by phone, email and in-person meetings.
- Perform market visits to meet with existing and prospective clients.
- Increase EME business through growth of existing accounts and addition of new accounts.
- Facilitate the preparation of proposal documents.
- Work with Operations group to set client expectations and manage client satisfaction.
- Maintain high level of knowledge of EME group’s services.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

- Must have good technical writing skills.
- Must have good scientific reasoning and ability to understand compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and understand contract, RFP and proposal documentation.
- Must be responsible for security and care of company equipment.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and listen. The employee may drive for extended periods of time. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wireless telecommunications and/or relevant sales experience required. RF/EME industry experience is a highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A business management, communications, IT, engineering degree or master’s degree in marketing or an MBA is a plus.
- Regularly attend regional and national industry events.
- Physically reside within a one hour commute to a major airport. Preference will be given to candidates residing in a major metropolitan market. Will consider regional candidates based upon candidate fit.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Must be comfortable speaking extemporaneously to a crowd and participating in industry events.
- Must present themselves in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Existing industry contacts in the region are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some evenings required.
Travel
- Travel to markets may be required up to 50% of the time. Overnight hotel stays if the job requires it.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
