The Opportunity

The Revolving Credit Product Leader is responsible for open-end unsecured credit products in the Ally Lending suite of credit products. The position is responsible for crafting, building and managing revolving credit products, including product design, product build requirements, and implementation. This senior management role will partner in responsibility for the performance KPI's related to this product suite and the evolution of the product/roadmap.

The Work Itself

The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product leader with a successful track record of:

  • Collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. credit business partners, legal, ops, risk/compliance, UX designers, user research, digit product managers, technology, program management, sales, etc.)
  • Defining product requirements and owning the successful execution of initiatives
  • Engaging closely with operations, technology, and digital product to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing speed to market needs
  • Defining a product launch, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling marketing roadmap of projects or iterations
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams and external partners to design, build, launch, and market new payment capabilities
  • Using customer experience data, analytics, market research and competitive analysis to drive decision making
  • Defining and proactively supervising key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions
  • Building and leading a team in a matrixed environment
  • Engaging in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes
  • Partnering with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure the revolving credit products we deliver are aligned with applicable laws, regs, and internal policies

The Skills You Bring

  • BS/BA is required, MBA or MS preferred
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of unsecured credit product experience
  • Experience building and leading a team
  • Sophisticated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal partners
  • History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business KPI's and the ability to drive them
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
