Job Description
Description & Requirements:SummaryPrepares financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Complete audits of table games, slots, bingo, cage, food and beverage and retail operations following detailed instructions and checklists
Prepares Excel schedules to support journal entries.
Verifies and posts details of business transactions within a business area of the company, such as funds received and disbursed, and complete a thorough audit of related documentation.
Identifies, investigates and reports any system, document or accounting issues that occur during the course of preparing and completing an audit
Audits for compliance of Gaming Regulations, Internal Policies and Procedures, and Revenue Reporting Regulations.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have intermediate level knowledge of Excel and 10 key (calculator) by touch.
Age RequirementMust be at least 21 years of age.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as verbally communicate within the department or with other department’s personnel for researching or resolving issues.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Must posses a strong competency of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
