OVERVIEW
J.W. Hulme is looking for an energetic, service focused Retail Store Associate to create an exceptional customer experience and become a brand ambassador for J.W Hulme. This dynamic individual will be responsible for maintaining an excellent client experience through completion of customer service duties, policies, and procedures – in store and over the phone. Answering client inquiries/selling product through exceptional product and brand knowledge. Maintaining the cleanliness and displays of the store, merchandising, working with customers and offering outstanding customer service daily.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Opening and closing the store
- Assist customers with premier customer service- in store and via phone/email customer service touchpoints
- Oversee customer orders and returns- complete point of sale transactions, answer questions, provide tracking, issue refunds, manage product repair process and product warranty claims
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the store and inventory rooms
- Merchandise and maintain store display
- Assisting in inventory input, organization and tracking
- Serve as a resource for the coordination, execution, and communication of overall product information and detail for: Customer Service, product knowledge, company history
- Communication and partnership with internal teams
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior retail experience focused on customer service (1yr minimum)
- Ability to establish strong rapport with customers- connect, create and build relationships with frequent customers
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) OneNote, Google Docs
- Ability to multitask
- High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as a self-starter
- Eager to learn about the many fields of retail business
- Able to work well independently and in team setting
- Articulate, mature, personable, and professional
- Punctual, reliable, and honest
