Retail Merchandising Specialist - Part Time

We are an international company and we work inside the largest retailer in the world providing high tech sales and merchandising on behalf of our manufacturers/vendor partners.

The Qtrax app is provided and the primary tool used to work. Clocking in and out is performed on your smartphone, sending and receiving email and documenting work with pictures. We cultivate business relationships with the management teams in each store conducive to maximizing sales on behalf of our vendor partners. We are sales people first, merchandisers second.

We seek out product from the stock rooms, cooler and freezers, ask permission to build displays on the sales floor and move product out on the floor then build displays with proper pricing. We place coupons on products, update shelf tags, and place proper signage. We set battery mods and hang clip strips. We document and report our work through pictures and email. We also keep an eye out for any competitive activity that may have an impact on the sales of the products we represent.

We create and maintain a retail environment conducive to maximum sales by keeping our manufacturer’s products fresh, full, fronted, faced, rotated, signed properly and abundantly displayed. We also ask for inventory corrections when necessary and ask for orders on extra cases of hot selling items. Whatever our vendor partners require of us to do to promote sales of their product, we cheerfully do!

What do we require?

1. At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.

2. Must have a valid driver license and dependable transportation.

3. Able and willing to stock shelves with an urgency; grocery experience and inventory knowledge all a plus!

4. Willing to maintain work in assigned store(s) within your zone and perform required tasks, and be willing to cover stores outside of your zone if needed.

5. Strong communication skills, comfortable speaking and selling to management and well organized.

6. Willing to read email communications regarding required tasks in store and complete tasks
