Job Description
SUMMARY
The Retail Marketing Manager will implement and provide marketing strategies for Original Penguin and Perry Ellis full-price and outlet stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the creative execution of in-store marketing
- Develop in-store visual for print and digital (YCD and Brightsign)
- Manage the execution of seasonal collateral changes
- Work with buying team to create asset needs in advance of all photoshoots
- Work with buying team to create window messaging in advance
- Create and mail out all media and marketing materials to stores
- Manage Retail Marketing calendar for all floor sets and window changes
- Process purchase orders and Invoices when applicable
- Coordinate all in-store and mall events for PE, OPG full-price and outlet stores
- Events = shopping events, promotional events, mall events, product events, and advertising
- Partner with NYC marketing groups to standardize event packages
- Work with store teams to customize brand right events to each store's’ market
- Partner with mall marketing offices on store/mall initiatives
- Work with Manager to create pre-event objectives and ROI
- Post-event analysis for traffic and sales
- Manage the production and distribution of event signage and social media posts
- Source and manage all expenses associated
- Partner with the digital team to send out store emails
- Manage the store information accuracy on Yelp and e-commerce sites
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; highly organized with keen attention to detail Strong oral and written communications skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR or related
- 3-5 years of experience in retail environment and retail marketing
