Retail Cashier

The primary responsibility of the cashier position is to provide customers with prompt and friendly amazing customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. We are looking for dependable, energetic, responsible cashiers to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide amazing customer service at all times
• Precisely and accurately handle money and operate cash register including processing returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently
• Engage customers to ensure they are receiving all the benefits of the Ace Rewards membership program and actively seek new members
• Maintain a neat personal appearance; wearing company uniform and nametag at all times
• Be knowledgeable and maintain awareness of current sales, promotions and advertisements
• Understand and adhere to store safety and emergency procedures including following store protocol for shoplifting
• Possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, co-workers and management
• Practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
• Willingness to learn a wide variety of products and services
• Maintain company standards of store cleanliness
• Face front, clean and maintain merchandise in register area
