The Position:

We are looking for a Buyer’s Assistant with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Possessing exceptional and professional verbal and written communication skills is critical in dealing with vendors, customers and other employees. Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work. Solid computer skills and a college degree are necessary to be considered as a candidate. Previous experience as an assistant or like position is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

• Follow up on previous orders that have been placed by the Buyer.
• Coordinate and maintain special orders.
• Handle phone and email communications.
• General office and administrative tasks.
• Generate purchase orders
• Maintain vendor records.

Additional Details:

• Competitive hourly wage.
• This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week.
• Set weekly work schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9:00am-3:30pm.
• 401k package and employee discount.
• Office work setting.
• Candidates will be reporting and supporting the Store Buyer.
