JOB SUMMARY
- Welcome Guests and promptly attend to tables
- Serve Food and Beverages to guests making recommendations and presenting the menu in a professional manner.
- Share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests and restrictions.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and in a timely manner.
- Check in the guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Clean tables, reset tables, complete opening and closing duties and re-stocking as required.
- Assist with In Room Dining and stocking the Oasis on each floor, as needed and requested by a manager.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Prior experience in server, host and/or supervisory positions.
- Basic computer skills required MICROS Symphony POS beneficial.
- Ability to work well with others and across discipline lines. Servers may work as a team of two in a section or be required to assist in other areas, so teamwork is KEY.
- Have experience in proper wine service and the knowledge and willingness to learn our wine list thoroughly, in order to assist guests and raise check averages and sales.
- Experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant is preferred.

Executive Chef Zachary Close from Café Boulud will lead the team to create a French-Inspired, New American cuisine that focuses on seasonality, sustainable and real ingredients to present dishes with a modern sensibility. Our team works closely with local farmers, fisheries, and purveyors to attain the best possible ingredients that will be showcased by techniques learned through world travels and experiences. The service will complement the culinary focus with a knowledgeable, friendly and polished staff that executes the needs of the guest with casual elegance.
