Job Description
The Restaurant Chef is responsible for managing, producing and directing the daily production of the restaurant. The ideal candidate would be a team leader by example, continually emphasizing day to day communication skills and commitment to excellent cuisine.Qualifications:

- Five or more years in hotel restaurant/casino outlets or individual restaurants pertaining to the specialized high volume area.
- Must be familiar with all aspects of the particular cuisine for said area (Wok cookery, Continental cuisine, etc.).
- Culinary background must have an emphasis on high volume, quality ITALIAN cuisine as well as teambuilding, interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have and/or obtain a Washoe County Food Protection Manager Certification.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 to 30 lbs. repeatedly and 75 lbs. on occasion.
