Job Summary:


The Subway Brand Manager will lead operations, franchise relations, marketing initiative, technological innovation, new store openings. This role assumes the financial responsibility for this team. The leader in this position will be accountable for overall growth of our non-traditional Subway group of restaurants within our convenience stores.


The Subway Brand Manager can expect to collaborate with directors of operations, area managers, store level leadership, and store employees to deliver operational excellence, resulting in exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will exemplify engagement, utilizing a hands-on approach with high energy to deliver results and produce a track record of setting, pursuing, and achieving aggressive goals.


This is an active field role that is primarily located in South Texas. The Subway Brand Manager reports director to the Vice President of Foodservice.

Essential Functions:

  • Exemplifies integrity, hospitality & authenticity; the core values of a TXB Employee
  • Leads new products rollouts, new restaurants opening, marketing, customer service, daily operations, and financial performance
  • Manages operations with a focus on delivering a great guest experience
  • Owns the foodservice business and leads operations as the Operations Expert
  • Maintains a high drive for results ensuring weekly targets are achieved in operational metrics to ensure net profit results
  • Functions as a field operations role, in-store and hands-on approach
  • Identifies opportunities to drive sales and profits
  • Inspires and motivates teams through communication, analytics, feedback, planning, direction, and recognition based results
  • Coaches and develops all operations and assisting to accomplishing companywide goals and objectives
  • Partners and influences the Operations Team to implement the foodservice business planning
  • Effectively coaches all levels of teams to best-in-industry standards
  • Collaborates with TXB Recruiters to source top talent
  • Identifies and develops high-potential future leaders
  • Creates a safe and clean environment for all managers, team members, and guests by ensuring all company and regulatory standards are met

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manages cross-functional relationship within all departments
  • Maintains effective relationships with vendors, distribution, and other vendors
  • Coordinates and communicates with teams regarding facility and maintenance requests, new restaurant openings, remodels, etc.
  • Demonstrates ability to build networks of people and utilizes resources in person and remotely
  • Demonstrates ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Demonstrates and practices corporate values, behaviors, and acts in an ethical and lawful manner at all times to include being a person of integrity, dependable, and inspirational
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate at all levels of the Company; clearly and concisely express opinions, conclusions, and recommendations

Qualifications: Experience, Competencies, and Education

Experience

  • 3+ years of corporate restaurant experience at above store level

Competencies

  • Team player and can effectively work with cross functional teams to accomplish goals
  • Strong food safety knowledge
  • Experience and comfortability coaching and influencing teams
  • Strong written and oral communication and easily engages with all levels
  • Strong understanding of M.S. Office programs
  • Amazing at leading & developing teams
  • Strong understanding of the operations work processes including the interaction with accounting, and support services departments, and their interaction with C-store operations
  • Strong analytical, planning and time management skills
