IQVIA is looking for high performing, results-oriented sales representatives with a track record of success to join our team as a Respiratory Sales Representative. This role is responsible for selling respiratory products on behalf our client.

The Respiratory Sales Representative (RSR) engages Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) in face to face discussions to promote assigned client products, maximize the products’ selling potential and meet program and Client objectives. The RSR achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with PCPs and educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The RSR utilizes approved tools and resources for product promotion and maintains a competent level of product, territory and customer activity knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies within the assigned geographic territory to achieve individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, call metrics, appropriate sample distribution, etc.
  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales:
    • On behalf of our client, promote products via live interactions with assigned PCP targets, engaging them in in-depth program.
    • Profile and manage a list of PCP targets and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume.
    • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by program.
  • Manage promotional budget.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of our client’s products and programs.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Supplier Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations, and terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements and PDMA Guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 4year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
  • 1+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required
  • Biotech or med device sales experience preferred
  • Respiratory sales experience selling products to PCPs and/or specialty highly preferred
  • Established relationships in the territory preferred. Experience selling with full office call focus, reimbursement, prior authorization & patience education programs preferred
  • Proven track record of success in a competitive environment with documented performance a strong plus
  • Company awards and achievements.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Experience working across teams and partnering with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions for patients
  • Valid driver's license
  • Duties may require compliance with client or third-party requirements that all those performing services on the client site or at other third-party facilities are fully vaccinated. All U.S. employees and contractors are required to complete a short form in Workday providing their COVID-19 vaccination status and proof of vaccination, if applicable.
