This full time night Respiratory Care Coordinator position is located at Mercy Hospital Joplin in the Respiratory department.
Overview:
The Respiratory Care Coordinator works under the supervision of the Manager/Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, and assists physicians in the treatment of patients with conditions that affect the cardiopulmonary system. Provides excellent patient care which results in achieving optimal patient and fiscal outcomes. Assigns duties to staff and oversees operations during shift. Assists with training, education, scheduling, identification and resolution of operational and personnel issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Secondary and some post-secondary (two to three years). Graduate of an approved program in Respiratory Care.
Licensure: RCP Respiratory Care Practitioner State of Missouri
Experience: Minimum of 2 years critical care experience.
Certifications: RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist Within 6 Months Of Hire. BLS Basic Life Support (or complete training during the orientation period). NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (or complete training during the orientation period).
Other: Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational and supervisory skills.
Preferred Education: Post-secondary (undergraduate).
Preferred Experience: Supervisory Respiratory Care role.
Preferred Certifications: ACLS PALS
