The Resource Management Manager is a highly effective, outcome-driven professional who is used to working in a fast-paced, complex environment. The Resource Manager is responsible for managing supply and demand effectively by determining the best staffing solution for each engagement - balancing client interests, associate needs and Point B priorities. This role will contribute to the utilization health and growth of our industries, solutions and geographies; support professional development for associates; and inform workforce planning to ensure we have the right people with the right skills available at the right time. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: Partner with Industry, Solutions or Management Consulting leadership to monitor and manage demand growth and supply health Partner with Recruiting and Business Partner Operations to forecast and manage hiring plans and business partner strategies Oversee day to day staffing operations to balance the needs of the associate, client, and business, make best use of our resources, and find the right fit for our client engagements Develop and continually improve resource management processes, team, and tools Develop and manage supply and demand resource management operations Oversee day to day resource management operations across assigned industries, management consulting or solutions Monitor and report supply or demand health Work with leadership to establish priorities and resolve prioritization conflicts Develop a strong understanding of the assigned industry demand and/or management consulting or solutions resources Build relationships with leadership to become a trusted advisor to achieve business objectives and manage conflict resolution Provide input to talent acquisition and talent management strategy for assigned areas Work on resource management initiatives that may include: processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support staffing, utilization management and resource forecasting WHAT WE OFFER: The opportunity to affect the learning approach for our firm's future The chance to impact the journey of our employees’ growth and development An environment that encourages you to identify new opportunities and the support to make it happen The opportunity to build and be part of a fun and collaborative culture with teams that are as passionate about their communities as they are about their work WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE: Solid understanding of the consulting business Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results Excellent judgment, and the ability to ask the right questions to assess a situation and make decisions quickly Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify the relevant business factors and prioritize them accordingly Communicates skillfully across a broad range of organizational levels, situations, and vehicles to drive goals and messages Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills Strong proficiency with core professional competencies, especially: attention to detail, responsiveness, follow through and agility Demonstrated ability to generate respect and trust from Point B employees Exceptional customer relationship skills and the ability to effectively work with Point B leadership.
