About this Position:

Solutions is seeking a supervisor position for its residential program. This is a key position in the program. It oversees the staff, facility, and implementation of programming for assigned individuals with various disabilities being served in a 24-hour corporate foster care (group home) setting to enhance independence and quality of life. This program uses a person-centered philosophy and strives to be culturally competent in the planning and provision of services. The Residential Supervisor provides input to the larger care team, and works closely with the Designated Coordinator to ensure program implementation, data collection, and program monitoring. The Residential Supervisor oversees the scheduling and supervision of Direct Service Professionals (DSP's), and ensures staff coverage. DSP's are responsible for facilitating daily living activities to promote independence for the individuals we serve, such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, community involvement, recreation and leisure skills, social activities, communication skills, and personal safety skills.

Each client has an individualized plan of care, and this supervisory position provides training, support, direction, and coaching to DSP's to meet the outcomes of this plan. The position ensures proper documentation, in keeping with corporate foster care and waivered services licensing standards, including progress notes, activity notes, program data, medication administration, medical appointment notes, incident reports, etc. This position reports to the Residential Assistant Manager and is responsible for overseeing that the facility is safe and well-maintained and in keeping with community standards. This position participates in a rotating schedule to provide crisis/back up support to staff on weekends and after business hours.

Solutions is seeking a motivated person with good leadership and supervisory skills to oversee its staff and programming. A qualified applicant would have a college degree in a human service field and supervisory experience. They would have good "people" skills and maintain a person-centered focus on the individuals we serve. Solutions is looking for an applicant with a level head, who can bring a steady hand to problem solving and who understands what it takes to run a group home household and be a good neighbor. This person in this position must pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver's license. Solutions is committed to providing a safe work environment for its staff and clientele.
