Job Description

Hubley Painting & Carpentry is a premiere residential renovation company with in-house painting and carpentry crews. We service MetroWest, Central Massachusetts and some Boston suburbs.

Ideal candidates will have 2 or more years of residential painting experience, good communication skills and work well in a team setting. Our team can provide necessary residential painting training if needed. Vehicle transportation is a pre-requisite. Shifts are 8-10 hours and overtime is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Make on-site preparations and breakdown of scaffolding and protective coverings on floor, furniture, and fixtures.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by masking, scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
• Perform plaster and drywall patching and repairs. Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials.
• Able to cut, roll and operate paint sprayer to apply paint to a variety of surfaces.
• Keep tools and worksite clean and organized.
• Work seamlessly with interior painting crew to complete jobs.
• Understands and adheres to all health and safety precautions.

Able to accrue up to 40 hours paid sick leave per Massachusetts’ law

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• interior painting: 2 years (Preferred)
