Job Description
ResponsibilitiesLaurel Heights Hospital located in Atlanta Georgia has a RESIDENTIAL MANAGER position available. Laurel Heights Hospital is an intensive Residential Treatment/Acute and Autism Spectrum Disorders Program for children and adolescents. We serve and treat severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties and co-occurring psychiatric issues. EOE.QualificationsBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience on management level or 5 years’ supervisory experience in mental health perferrably in a residential treatment setting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have healthcare knowledge and be able to comprehend psychiatric evaluations. This individual must be able to perform their duties in a positive work mode and serve as a positive role model and influence for youth and peers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Regularly uses terminologies and prepares drafts of proposals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Intermediate use of computer spreadsheet programs with some advanced calculations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
