Weekend Baylor Shifts Available:

  • 7am - 7pm OR 7pm - 7am
  • 24 hours (2 shifts) over the weekend (Saturday/Sunday) **Premium Pay**
  • 8 hours (1 shift) during the week at base hourly pay rate

Job Responsibilities

  • Completes medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled; informs resident or responsible party of the benefits & side effects of medications & treatments.
  • Implements any medication or treatment order changes upon direction of the Assisted Living Administrator or MD; keeps AL Administrator informed of any changes in resident’s condition.
  • Completes with accuracy the MAR and treatment record assuring that drug monitoring indicators are identified.
  • Makes emergency and critical care decisions involving residents and staff.
  • Ensures that Resident Assistants provide support with activities of daily living to see that optimum comfort and care is provided. Assists Resident Assistants in providing direct nursing care, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in medical/surgical, rehab or geriatric nursing.
