LSSI is offering a full-time position for Resident Reviewer to determine appropriate level of care for individuals diagnosed with a Severe Mental Illness who currently reside in a nursing home setting.
This position complies with the Governor’s Executive Order COVID-19 vaccination mandate; which requires full vaccination unless you have a medical or religious exemption. If not vaccinated, weekly COVID-19 testing and results are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interview, complete Psychosocial Assessment w/ client &/or guardian and provide discharge recommendations for each client.
- Complete documentations according to MH PAS Manual, Williams & Colbert Consent Decree, and direction provided by IL Dept. Human Services DMH, DOA, & HFS.
- Engage in individual and/or group supervision with supervisor.
- Aware of accreditation and licensure standards; adherence to ethical standards to treatment according to NASW code of ethics.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work services field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred OR in current pursuit of LCSW/LCPC licensure.
- Ability to transport self to nursing facility, LSSI sites, and meetings and conferences as scheduled.
