Essential Functions:
- Coordinate the CONUS based resident courses IAW security cooperation guidance and DIMO standard operating procedures
- Access required information systems required to initiate, input data, monitor, and coordinate resident courses such as SANweb. Provide reports on course status and relevant information from available data as needed for leadership.
- Adhere to resident course preparation activities IAW Resident Course Preparation Timelines. Prepare and execute resident courses which require working offsite at local hotels.
- Coordinate/perform International Military Student Officer (IMSO) duties
- Present administrative/course information briefings, demonstrate customer service skills, and prepare documents pertaining to the resident courses hosted by DIMO.
- Act as the focal point on the development, analysis, evaluation, and execution of the resident courses.
- Monitor/assist with the DIMO resident courses development and instructor selection/coordination to include the courses’ logistical needs.
- Coordinate courses/training with the course Director, Security Cooperation Program Manager, AFSAT office, country embassies, DoD, Non-Governmental organizations (NGOs), and other supporting organizations in accordance with course Operating Instructions (OI) and checklists.
- Maintain international flags used for resident courses, to include storage and inventory after each use, ordering replacement flags, and preparing the flags for use.
- Assist in Mission Specialist mobile team tasks as assigned by the Chief, Operations.
- Coordinate with Team and Course Leads as they relate to MTT missions to deliver/pickup mission supplies, personnel and international students.
- Determine ways to improve operations and introduce new and innovative activities to increase awareness/promotion of DIMO consistent with established goals and objectives based on customer needs and potential customer demographics.
Experience
Preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- An active favorable T3 clearance.
- A Bachelors Degree and demonstrated experience related to the essential functions.
- Three (3) years of specialized knowledge/experience in project management and event planning.
- Three (3) years experience in the fields of international health, security cooperation, and protocol within any Federal agency.
