Resident Assistant

BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove is a new locally owned and operated memory care community dedicated to revolutionizing the way we provide care to seniors living with memory impairment. We have designed our home and our care model with a focus on empowering residents to live as active, engaged and independent as possible.

To carry out our mission, we need someone like you! A Resident Assistant who has experience working in assisted living/memory care. Someone who thrives in a small, family-like work environment. Someone who is looking to feel connected within a supportive team atmosphere, yet strives to grow through challenges and learning.

A Day in The Life:

• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) i.e. dental and mouth care, dressing/ undressing, hair care, toileting,personal hygiene, and other duties as directed.
• Follows scheduled reminders for resident ADLs.
• Has a solid understanding of the dementia process.
• Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.
• Performs housekeeping tasks to keep the community clean and refreshed
• Must communicate effectively team members,residents, and resident families.
• Completes delegated nursing tasks as assigned.
• Maintains a professional demeanor in demanding situations.

Education and Experience:

• High School education or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ health care industry experience preferred.
• Dementia/ Memory Care training a plus, but will be provided.
• CNA certification a plus.

Must-Have’s:

• Follows all policies and procedures.
• Must receive a "not disqualified"criminal background result and may not be on the OIG exclusions list.'
