Resident Assistant

This posting is for Full Time Position. Shifts are 12 hour shifts with a 3-2 rotation. Day and Night shifts are available. Resident assistants are responsible for the daily care of our elderly residents including, but not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, meal preparation, occasional feeding, and providing companionship. Other responsibilities include doing residents laundry and housekeeping of resident room and facility. Obtaining vital signs and accu-checks are also an important part of the RA role. We are looking for someone with previous senior care experience, facility experience is preferred. Love, care, and compassion are at the center of everything we do and we expect that all of our colleagues have and maintain this same philosophy. CNA certification is not required but preferred. Professionalism is a must in all ways including communication and attire. Must be flexible and adaptable to change with a positive and charismatic attitude. Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear mask when contact with residents. Screening worksheet and temperature checks are required at the front door. Daily meticulous sanitation cleaning practices are also done and maintained.

• Do you have an experience with patients with Alzheimer's Disease/ Dementia or other cognitive impairments ( Parkinson's, ALS, MS, Lewy Body Dementia, Stroke)?
• Are you proficient with simple medical tasks (eg obtaining vital signs, accu-checks, using a gait belt, wheelchair, walker, cane, oxygen equipment)?

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Senior care: 1 year (Preferred)
