Hiring Location:
Corporate Office - 1875 Lackland Hill Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146
Hours - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
Flexible availability during the week. Availability on weekends and around the holidays required.
Prior experience in a call center or heavy phone experience is required.
Support Kennelwood Pet Resorts through customer service/sales functions including but not limited to: being the first point of contact for customer reservations, customer concerns, cash handling, generating sales, taking in-bound calls and making out-bound calls. The goal is to provide quality and efficient customer service to every customer- recognizing customers' needs and to recommend Kennelwood Pet Resorts products and services.
DUTIES:
- Ensure customer service calls are answered in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
- Knowledgeable of all products and services offered
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and up-sell to customers
- Communicate with clients, guests, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Route calls to appropriate resource
- Follow up customer calls where necessary
- Handle payment transactions
- Data entry and maintenance of customer/potential customer data base
- High energy level
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional customer service and sales experience.
- Dependable - quick study.
- Ability to work around pet hair and pet dander.
- Typing 25 wpm minimum
- Must be familiar with computer (keyboard, screen & mouse) and multi-line telephone usage.
