Job Description

The Research Technician B provides support to the PI and other staff within the hiring laboratory by successfully completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Tasks include performing experiments, maintenance of the lab mouse colony including breeding and genotyping, management of lab safety protocols, general lab organization/maintenance and ordering of supplies.

  • Coordinate procedures and perform lab duties requiring the exercise of analytical judgment.
  • Manage mouse colony and perform genotyping.
  • Record, compile, organize, evaluate and interpret data obtained with methods requested.
  • Maintain an accurate and well organized lab notebook
  • Manage lab safety, place supply orders, and participate in overall lab maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences. Between 0-3 years’ experience in blood platelets in thrombosis.
