Responsibilities: The Priess Lab is looking to hire a Research Technician II. The work will involve cell and biochemical studies on cell differentiation and germ cell development using the model system C. elegans.Qualifications:
  • Research Technician I - Requires a BA/BS, preferably in biological sciences, and independent research experience outside of laboratory course work. Undergraduate thesis preferred.
  • Research Technician II - Intermediate level position requires a BA/BS and 2+ years’ experience working in a laboratory. Independent research experience outside of laboratory course work is required.
  • The applicant must have proven laboratory expertise in standard DNA and protein biochemical techniques such as plasmid construction, PCR, Western analysis, and immunoprecipitation.
  • Experience working with C. elegans desired but not essential
